Use the test below to determine student mastery of the week's vocabulary words.
1)  Review all words below with students..
2)  Call out the 7 words in each column below in random order.  Students are to locate the correct word and write it in the correct numbered space below the column.  Try using "Definition Clues" when possible for adding extra skill and increasing student interest.  Additional information on Definition Clues go to -

3)  Students then write a sentence using one of this week's words (can be chosen by the teacher).

Directions:  Take any word from the list and put it into a sentence.  Sentence must have at least 7 words and not begin with the word "I."  Try your best to make the sentence interesting.
